Cookie Policy

  1. The Cookie Policy applies to the websites of Cloud Services 4 U (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”). The Website uses cookies, i.e., data files (particularly text files), which are stored on the User’s end device and used to recognize the User’s device upon connection and to facilitate the use of the Website. In addition, the Website uses Local Storage, i.e., data stored in the browser's memory, as well as FingerprintJS technology, which identifies the user's device and browser to support two-factor authentication during login.
  2. The entity placing cookies on the User’s end device and accessing them is AB S.A., with its registered office in Magnice at Europejska Str. 4, 55-040 (hereinafter: AB). AB is also the Data Controller when the cookies to which we have access contain personal data.
  3. Cookies are used to collect information related to the User’s use of the Website and may serve purposes such as maintaining the User's session on the Website (after logging in) and navigating the Website. If the User consents upon their first visit to the Website, and such functionality is enabled by the Controller, cookies may also be used for purposes such as:
    1. adjusting the Website’s content to the User’s preferences and optimizing the use of the Website;
    2. creating statistics that help understand how Users use the Website, enabling improvements to its structure and content;
    3. tailoring displayed advertisements to the User’s interests.
  4. The Website uses two main types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the User’s end device until logging out, leaving the Website, or closing the browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the User’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the User.
  5. The Website may use the following types of cookies:
    1. “Necessary” cookies, which enable the use of services available on the Website, e.g., cookies used for services requiring authentication;
    2. “Analytical” cookies, which allow the collection of information on how the Website is used;
    3. “Functional” cookies, which enable the Website to remember the User's selected settings and personalize the interface, such as language, region, font size, website appearance, etc.;
    4. “Advertising” cookies, which make it possible to deliver advertising content more relevant to the User’s interests.
  6. Users can change cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed, in particular, to block all cookies except those that are necessary. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling cookies is available in the browser settings.
  7. Disabling cookie support in the browser may prevent the use of some parts of the Website.
  8. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and other applicable regulations.
  9. When “necessary” cookies are used, personal data is processed based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  10. If the User consents to the use of functional or analytical cookies, personal data is processed based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing personal data by the User is voluntary but necessary to use the above-mentioned cookies. Failure to provide data makes it impossible to use advertising, functional, and analytical cookies.
  11. Data may also be processed for AB’s legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) and for the protection of AB’s rights, in particular for documentation, pursuing claims, and defending against claims (legitimate interest of the controller – Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  12. AB processes the User’s personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy or fulfill AB’s legal obligations, and if the limitation period for claims resulting from those purposes is longer – no longer than until the expiry of that period.
  13. Recipients of personal data may include entities cooperating with AB in connection with the Website and the tools available on the Website, including IT service providers, as well as accounting, advisory, and marketing service providers.
  14. Personal data may be transferred outside the EEA. Such transfers can only take place based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission or based on standard contractual clauses.
  15. Under the applicable data protection regulations, the User has the right to request access to their data, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  16. Where processing is based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), the User has the right to object to the processing of personal data if justified by their particular situation or if the data is processed for direct marketing purposes.
  17. The above rights (except for lodging a complaint with the supervisory authority) may be exercised by sending an appropriate request to the email address: rodo@ab.pl.
